Nielsen 9mm 125 grain slugs are not cast, but cold swaged/pressed in a mold.
This gives numerous advantages:

• The slugs are perfectly round
• The slugs are exactly the same in shape
• The slugs have a uniform weight distribution and therefore a perfect balance

Due to the swaging process, Nielsen 9 mm 125 grain (8.1grams) slugs are made of a softer lead.
Softer lead is often preffered in big bore airguns due to the pressures and barrels they work with.
