3-12x magnification

The RapidStrike has an adjustable magnification between 3x and 12x.
Thanks to this low initial magnification, this riflescope has a wide field of view and can be used at shorter distances.

When you need more precision, you can throw the magnification up to 12x.
Thanks to the included throw lever, the magnification can be adjusted very quickly.

External turrets

The Firefield RapidStrike 3-12x40 is equipped with external, lockable turrets.
This means that the scope, after it has been sighted and zeroed, can easily be corrected for different distances.

The turrets are metric and have an adjustment of 1/10MRAD p/click and are easy to lock by pressing them.
This allows you to walk around safely without accidentally twisting the turrets.
By pulling on the turret you release the lock.

Mil-Hash reticle

When you look through the scope you will see the Mil-Hash reticle which you can use for corrections and calculations.

This reticle is placed on the second focal plane. This means that the reticle does not increase in size with the magnification of the rifle scope.
The advantage of this is that the reticle always has the same thickness. This is desirable for shooting at low magnification or for hunting/pest control with clip-on night vision optics.

Important to know with this system: This means that the hash marks on the crosshairs have a different ratio at every magnification.
At 12x the RapidStrike has correct proportions for calculations with the wide hashmarks indicating an angle of 1MRAD (10cm by 100m).

Focus & Parallax

The RapidStrike 3-12x40 has easily adjustable lenses.
The eyepiece is adjustable to focus the reticle to your eye.

The parallax/focus adjustment is located on the left side of the scope.
This allows you to easily focus the riflescope at parallax distances.

This slim riflescope has many interesting features for its price range.
This makes it ideal for a novice shooter who is still learning, but does not want to buy a new scope every time he needs new features.

It is also well suited for the pest controll.
Thanks to the low initial magnification and the placement of the reticle on the second focal plane, this riflescope works well with most clip-on night vision optics.

In short, it is a good all-round riflescope with an impact-resistant design (rated up to .338 Lapua Magnum).
