The Vector Optics Contenental 5-30x56 can be summarized as a robust riflescope that is made to provide excellent image quality with all the necessary tools for the long-range shooter.

The rifle scope is made of impact-resistant 6061-T6 aluminum and is filled with nitrogen to prevent the lenses from fogging up on the inside.
It is water resistant and has an IPX6 waterproof rating.

The Continental is widely applicable thanks to its wide adjustment range, but really excels in the hands of the long-range shooter.

Image quality

Thanks to the 56mm wide objective lens, the Continental has excellent light transmission, which is only contributed to by the fully multi-coated German Schott lenses.
These high-quality lenses ensure that the light passes completely through the rifle scope.

Thanks to the LaREE Lens & VePRO FMC lens system, which has at least 90% light transmission, you are assured of a very clear, sharp and detailed image, even in low light.

The eyepiece has a diameter of 42mm and has an average distance to the eye of 10cm.
This makes the Continental safe to use on powerful long-range firearms.

5-30x FFP magnification

The Continental has an adjustable magnification from 5x to a maximum of 30x that allows you to get close to the target.
Thanks to this wide adjustment range, the Continental 5-30x56 VEC-MBR is widely applicable, but this riflescope really excels in long-distance precision.

The VEC-MBR reticle is placed on the first focal plane (FFP).
This means that the reticle changes size together with the magnified image and indicates the same proportions at every magnification.

VEC-MBR Reticle

This etched reticle has a detailed "Christmas tree/dirty" design.
For increased contrast, the cross can be illuminated with 6 red settings. This runs on a CR2032 battery.
Thanks to the clear mil ratios (metric), the shooter can easily calculate distances and corrections.

The reticle also contains a stadiametric rangefinder to quickly estimate distances.

Turrets

Calculated corrections can be applied thanks to the sturdy external turrets.
These metric turrets move in 0.1MRAD increments and have a clear and tactile click with each step.

The height turret has an adjustment range of 26MRAD with 10MRAD p/rotation.
There are multiple rows with numbered markings for each rotation. With each rotation upwards, an indicator pin rises to indicate which row to use.

The standard turret has a zero-stop that you can set to the desired minimum distance.
Don't want zero-stop? Then the Continental comes with an extra interchangeable turret without zero-stop.

The side turret has an adjustment range of 16MRAD and, like the height turret, is easy to lock or unlock by pressing or pulling.

Parallax

The Continental 5-30x56 has a side-focus parallax adjustment.
This is the button on the left side of the rifle scope and allows the Continental to focus, correct parallax effects and measure rough distances.
The Continental has a minimum parallax of 10y (9.1m) and with steps of 10, 15, 20, 30, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500 and infinite.
